General Info:

Noroxin is an antibiotic in a group of drugs called fluoroquinolones. It fights bacteria in the body.
Noroxin is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, gonorrhea, and prostate infections.
Noroxin may also be used for purposes other than those listed in this medication guide.

Noroxin missed dose:

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If you are more than 2 hours late in taking your medicine, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.

Noroxin overdose:

Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. Symptoms of a Noroxin overdose may include seizure (convulsions).

Noroxin side effects:

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Stop using Noroxin and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

seizure (convulsions), diarrhea that is watery or bloody, sudden pain or swelling near your joints (especially in your arm or ankle), numbness, pain, tingly feeling, or weakness; or nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, dark urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes).
