Diprolene is used to help relieve redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of many skin problems. Diprolenes is like cortisone. It belongs to the general family of medicines called steroids.

Diprolene is a super-high potency corticosteroid indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses in patients 13 years and older. The total dose should not exceed 50 g per week because of the potential for the drug to suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis.
