Cyclophosphamide is a drug that is used primarily for treating several types of cancer and often in combination with other drugs to treat breast cancer, leukemia and ovarian cancer. Cyclophosphamide slows or stops the growth of cancer cells in your body. The length of treatment depends on the types of drugs you are taking, how well your body responds to them, and the type of cancer you have. Cyclophosphamide also is approved for treating nephrotic syndrome (a disease of the kidneys) in children.
