General Info:
Cordarone belongs to the group of medicines known as antiarrhythmics. It is used to correct life-threatening heartbeat problems called ventricular arrhythmias in adults when other treatments did not work or were not tolerated.
Cordarone produces its helpful effects by slowing nerve impulses in the heart and acting directly on the heart tissues.
If you miss a dose of cordarone, do not take the missed dose at all and do not double the next one. Instead, go back to your regular dosing schedule. If you miss two or more doses in a row, check with your doctor.
